Representing nine countries, the journey taken by the race entrants to the start line of the first Great Pacific Race are very different. For some of the more lucky crews the start line in Monterey is close, others have travelled a very long way indeed. One of the crews that have travelled the furthest is CC4 Pacific.
The cousins from France were greeted into San Francisco by their fellow countryman and outrigger canoe paddler, Cyril Derreumaux. After a visit to the Goldengate Bridge they started work on shopping in preparation for their boat clearing customs.
